Shane was asked to build a barn style home that the family could live in and use for farm equipment storage while they planned their dream home. Shane helped them plan and design a barn home that not only provided good storage and functionality but also a warm dry funky living space. The family is so comfortable in their upmarket “shed” that they still haven’t got around to designing their dream home.

This client wanted to build a home that looked traditional yet could withstand the elements of beach front living. He felt insulation, solid construction and consideration to today’s climate were paramount. Shane has just completed a rebuild of a property that was damaged by rot. The property was rebuilt retaining the original charm and character of the original home.
